The Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition (ASOC), is a global coalition of more than 100 environmental non-governmental organizations (NGOs), headquartered in Washington, DC. ASOC is the only organization in the world solely focused on protecting the continent of Antarctica and its surrounding Southern Ocean.

It holds the only NGO environmental seat at the Antarctic Treaty System, is an observer to the International Whaling Convention (IWC) and the Agreement on Conservation of Albatross and Petrels (ACAP), and participates actively at the International Maritime Organization’s meetings.
